Our Team
Inspired by the work of Dr. Yves Dejean in Fort-Royal, Haiti, a group of professionals in Miami, Florida established Three Little Flowers Center, Inc., with the goal of engaging South Florida youth, donors, volunteers, and partners, in support of Sant Twa Ti Flè. The organization was legally registered as a 501(c)(3) with the State of Florida in 2002.
Advisory Board Members
The Advisory Board serves as a body of advocacy for the mission and goals of the organization. Members are chosen based on their commitment to the cause of Three Little Flowers Center. Each person’s expertise provides enriching guidance to TLFC officers and team members.
Officers and Active Members
TLFC officers and active members work tirelessly to engage and educate youth, enroll partners and volunteers, raise funds, and ensure the school and community of Sant Twa Ti Flè continue to benefit from the services and programs that were set in motion. They make yearly visits to Fort-Royal.
Partners
Partners play a critical role in the accomplishment of our mission. We thank Food for the Poor for supplying the daily meal of STTF‘s students and orchestrating the construction of homes and school buildings, Pines Crest Preparatory School for engaging their youth, the United Teachers of Dade, for offering on-site teacher training, our individual donors for helping fund the program expenses, and volunteers for their contributions at many levels.
Youth Engagement
Three Little Flowers Center promotes the engagement of youth in South Florida and across the US. Children of TLFC members and their friends, students from local schools, churches, and universities, serve as volunteers. They showcase their skills and talents during fundraising activities, spearhead food and supply drives, help with garage sales, and the packing of items that are destined for shipment.
